I wanted to love these coupe plates, and in many ways, I do. The glazes are absolute works of art, and the weight and shape make them remarkably versatile for everyday meals.
My initial excitement was tempered when my first order arrived with deep scratches in the glaze. That said, East Fork’s customer service was fantastic—they responded quickly and shipped out a replacement without any hassle.
However, after just a week of normal use, the replacement plate has already developed a large crack running around the foot of the piece. As a newcomer to East Fork, I’m left torn. I can't tell if I've just experienced an incredible run of bad luck with quality control, or if this is simply what to expect from their ceramics. Beautiful to look at, but I'm hesitant to invest more until I know they hold up better.

This is our go-to dish now, we have a fun sage green and are ordering more in heron to fill out the set!
